BABEL Activity: 2nd ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering (BABEL partner meeting – November 24-26)

In the framework of the ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering 2023 “Turning Point” in Serbia, the presentation of the BABEL – or Art of Listening in TYA by the Head of the Research Team of BABEL project dr Wolfgang Schneider was programmed at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade on November 20th 2023 as part of the conference “Children and Youth Rights to Culture: 10 years later”.

As part of the “Turning Point”, the whole BABEL project consortium was gathered for a two-days international project meeting on Saturday and Sunday November 25-26th in the venue of European Youth Capital Novi Sad (OPENS) in the Creative District of Novi Sad.

A day before, a part of the Artistic Gathering Open Market organized in the Student Cultural Centre “Fabrika” in Novi Sad was a public presentation of the current project results and approaches, on Friday 24th of November.

Additionally, many performances of this year’s special edition of the Festival of ASSITEJ Serbia (FAS) under the title “Setting Sail” that is organized as part of the ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering 2023 have been selected to draw special attention to the topics, goals and priorities of the  initiative BABEL – or The Art of Listening in TYA, as well as other lectures, workshops and discussions.

Implementation of this project in Serbia is co-financed since 2022 by the Ministry of Culture.
